Building waterproofing is a process which is designed to prevent water from penetrating a building. Usually extensive waterproofing measures are added to a building at the time of construction, to provide moisture control from the start, and waterproofing may also be done after a building is built, to address problems as they emerge or as part of a building retrofit.

Epoxy Injection

Epoxy is a thermoset plastic that has an epoxy ring consisting of two carbon atoms that are single-bonded to a common oxygen atom.

The largest applications of epoxy resins are in coatings. Epoxy resin coatings have excellent mechanical strength and adhesion to many kinds of surfaces. They are corrosion resistant and resistant to many chemicals. Coatings find applications in various paints, white ware, and automotive and naval sectors, for heavy corrosion protection of all kinds. Epoxy coating formulations are available both as liquid and solid resins. Epoxy acrylic hybrid systems are used as coatings for household applications, e.g., indoor and outdoor furniture and metal products.

Polyurethane Injection

Polyurethane (PU) injection or grouting is a type of waterproofing solution to solve problems not limited to only water leakage, but
also concrete cracks, depressed concrete slab, and settlement problems due to its high expansion properties and short reacting
period. PU resin is a type of fluid resin that can expand in the concrete structure, and thus produce the polyurethane foam and fill
the cracks or voids on it. However, the physical properties of PU will change from liquid to solid after undergoing a specific chemical
transformation process.

PU injection has short curing and repairing time, therefore, it is highly recommended to be adopted in sealing the visible active leaks
observed in the concrete slabs.

Cementatious Grouting

Cement grouting can offer an economic advantage for underpinning applications over alternative approaches such as removal and replacement or piling, and can be performed where access is difficult and space is limited. Since the effectiveness of cement grouting is independent of structural connections, this technique is readily adaptable to existing foundations and can typically be accomplished without disrupting normal facility operations.

Wide cracks, particularly in mass concrete abutments / piers and masonry substructures can be repaired by filling with portland cement grout. This method is effective in sealing the crack in concrete, but it will not structurally bond cracked sections.

Industrial Base Plate Grouting

Heavy machinery and rotary equipment cannot simply be installed on a concrete foundation since irregularities in both the machine base and concrete surface will create load-bearing issues and alignment difficulties. Additionally, a concrete foundation is not tough enough to withstand the compressive and dynamic loading needed to support the heavy machinery. For this reason, machinery bases are aligned and leveled by shims or jack bolts above the mechanically prepared concrete foundation and the resulting space between the machine base is filled with Engineering Grout (Industrial Grout) for load and energy transfer from the equipment into the foundation. The primary purpose of grout under machine base plates is to maintain structural integrity with the foundation for as long as the machine is operable.
